Terms of Service

Welcome to Shigoshi ("we", "us"), a hiring platform operated from Patna, Bihar, India, available at shigoshi.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us before relying on it.

1. What Shigoshi is

Shigoshi lets candidates discover jobs and apply to them, take a practice interview with Tara, our AI voice interviewer, receive a Shigoshi Score, chat with hiring teams that shortlist them, and attend live video interviews on the platform. Hiring teams can post jobs, review applicants, and manage their pipeline. Some listings are sourced from public external websites and clearly marked — for those, the original posting and its owner's terms govern the actual vacancy, and the Apply button may take you off Shigoshi.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password private. One person, one account. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms, post fraudulent content, or harm other users — and where suspected fraud is involved, we may do so without prior notice.

3. Rules for candidates

Your resume and profile must be truthful and belong to you. When you apply to a job, you instruct us to share your attached resume and profile with that hiring team — that's what applying means. If you are selected for a role (Offer or Hired) and your visibility switch is on, fellow applicants of that same job may view your winning resume; you can switch this off at any time in your resume settings.

4. Rules for hiring teams

Post only genuine, lawful vacancies you are authorised to hire for. Never charge candidates money for applying, interviewing, or being selected — accounts doing so will be removed and may be reported. Use applicant data only for hiring for the role applied to, and delete it when no longer needed for that purpose.

5. AI features, honestly

Tara's interviews and the Shigoshi Score are assistive signals, not verdicts. They are generated by AI from a short conversation and can be imperfect. Hiring teams must make their own human decisions and must not use the score as the sole basis for rejecting anyone. Interview audio is processed to create transcripts and scores as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Payments

Some optional features are paid: the ₹49 single AI interview, the ₹29 winning-resume view, and the ₹399 Premium pass (30 days, 10 AI interviews, winning-resume access). Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see your card or UPI credentials. Passes are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Content and conduct

Don't upload anything unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, or that you lack rights to. Don't scrape the platform, probe its security, spam other users, or misrepresent who you are. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

8. The service, as it is

We work hard to keep Shigoshi fast and available, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of uninterrupted service or of any hiring outcome. We are a platform connecting people — the employment relationship, its terms, and its outcome are strictly between candidate and employer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at Patna, Bihar have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site, and continuing to use Shigoshi after a change means you accept it.
