Shigoshi Copilot — Privacy Policy

What Copilot does. Copilot helps you fill job application forms on job sites (Indeed, Naukri, LinkedIn) using the profile and resumes you created on shigoshi.com, and can attach a resume tailored by our AI to the job description shown on your screen. You always review and submit applications yourself — Copilot never submits anything automatically.

Data it uses. When you click Autofill or Tailor, the extension sends your device token and, for tailoring, the job description text visible on your current page to shigoshi.com. Your name, contact details and resume content already live in your Shigoshi account; Copilot reads them from there. The extension stores only your device token, chosen resume ID and settings locally in your browser (chrome.storage).

What it never does. Copilot never asks for or stores your job-site passwords, never reads pages beyond the sites listed in its permissions, never sells or shares your data with third parties, and never submits applications without your click. Job description text sent for tailoring is processed to generate your resume and is not used to train models.

Security & revocation. Connecting uses a one-time 6-digit code that creates a device token; Shigoshi stores only a hash of it. Revoke all devices anytime at shigoshi.com/dashboard/copilot → Disconnect all, which immediately invalidates the extension.

Account data. Your Shigoshi account data is governed by Shigoshi's main policies. Delete resumes anytime in Resume Studio; disconnecting Copilot removes its access without affecting your account.
